New Product Development
Our engineers have the capabilities to design new and existing products to meet or
exceed customer specifications. Our expertise has allowed us to create a proven
process that collaborates with our customers every step of the way and include the
following processes:

- Development proposal: includes gathering original samples,
understanding customer specifications and requirements, establish sales volumes
anticipated
- Feasibility analysis: includes gathering engineering properties
(functionality, product structure, specific materials used, customer requirements)
and production properties (specific tooling and specific equipment requirements)
- Engineering analysis: includes establishing bill of materials
(BOM), tool complexity (number of molds, cavity number, mold material, etc),
injection cycle time, packaging method, original sample testing under customer
specifications
- Cost and budget analysis: includes mold costs, product costs,
packaging cost, shipping cost, price quote proposal
- Project establishment: includes product development release,
generate project management schedule, patent search, defining product
specifications based on original sample test results as well as results from
patent searches, requirements and customer specifications
- Product design: includes 2D and 3D CAD parts and assembly
drawing and solid modeling
- Rapid Prototype: includes Stereolithography (SLA) sample
- Tooling design: includes defining tools necessary for production
assembly, mold design, and mold flow analysis
- Packaging design: includes defining product packaging, master
carton and product labeling guidelines
- Mold fabrication: includes mold drawing and mold base purchase,
mold cutting, mold polishing and fittings
- Sourcing and procurement: includes sourcing materials from local
suppliers in China, samples and evaluation
- Mold trial and engineering evaluations: includes plastic mold
trials and retrials, engineering debugs, product assembly for product testing,
perform functional tests, final sample approval
- Pilot runs: includes releasing molds for injection, procurement
of outsourced parts, small pilot runs, quality checks and engineering changes
where necessary
- Logistics: includes fulfillment of initial purchase order and
coordination with logistics for shipment preparation
